As we all know, Sherry 1.3 is fast approaching. In recent discussion with my friend TribalJet from the 9xxSSF community, there are some new features that need to be implemented, which is not in the original development plan. That said, it will not be certain that the driver release will be postpone or not, but I will try my best to make it in time.
Those new features includes :
- Optimization for Flash Hardware Acceleration
- Better HTML5 Optimization for both canvas and video
- Better SSE3 support
Those are among the new/still in process development for Sherry 1.3.
Sherry 1.3 will be release 9 days from today, so bare with me hoping I can finish up in time. So please continue supporting the project, for a token of appreciation, please donate to the project, your contribution will be greatly appreciated and will get me going for more developments to come 🙂

will v1.3 fix the error of stutter and fps drop in counter strike 1.6 [opengl mode] whenever someone switches on flashlight or night-vision?
d3d mode in the game is very bad as it skips frames during online gaming and the graphics during software mode makes me feel that wolf 3D was such an awesome game 😀

I’m assuming that you referring to Prince of Persia : The sands of Time.
as far as i know, The sands of time run pretty well on Sherry 1.2 running on Intel 945 (GMA 950)..
If u meant The Forgotten Sands, then it’s another story. 🙂

Sorry to kill your hope, but no, Sherry 1.3 will NOT work with XP x86 on the X3100.

I do have some rep for being late on releasing projects, lol, i remembered when Sherry 1.2 came out late and make everyone waiting, well as all of u know i am a student, so I may not be able to work on the driver full day. Unless it’s semester break, even so i need my rest. But i will try the best to make it in time bro 🙂

I believe previous Sherry version gained fame for its improvements to the 945; do you expect 965 users to see dramatic performance improvements in this Sherry?

The previous Sherry 1.2 do improved the intel 945 graphics family drastically, well by what most users reviewed it and with self testing on my own laptop.
that said, Im not pretty sure if the performance of the upcoming Sherry 1.3 will also improve the 965 graphics, but with the previous Sherry 1.2, some user (my friend NeoDragon, can be found at the 9xxssf Forum) mod it to use with the 965 and most people seems happy with it. But there are certain drawbacks, such as little device support and some instability issues. The Sherry 1.3 will specially written for 965 (Sherry 1.3 965 version both 32bit and 64bit) with better device support and official support at our forum. 🙂
Again i dont have a system with 965 graphics, so the performance and feedbacks relies fully on users feedbacks.
